Huh, weird that it says that. They let me use an anonymous profile when I installed aurora store. I didn’t have to sign in or anything and when I tap the settings icon it says my account is “[email protected]”

I think you only need a google play account if you want to download paid applications or applications that use google pay for microtransactions or whatever.
