Is it weird that I can sympathize with Eddington?
Like all good villains, Eddington had a point and just went about it in a stupid “…and find out.” way.
A petty jab in the face of defeat. We’ve all felt that at some point or another. Although, in this case it’s part of a ruse to reach his wife and comrades.
I still don’t understand the beef with Les Misérables.
Eddington was a romantic who saw himself painted as the mistreated hero. And I guess one of the writers had a boner for that book and felt proud of themselves for its inclusion.
