He went to UVU one semester and then left and went to trade school as an electrical apprentice. I highly doubt he got radicalized at college in Utah. He was already radicalized by his parents and family in the MAGA / Mormon spheres. It takes longer than a semester to deconstruct cult level beliefs like that. There is very little to any evidence that his roommate is trans. It is all hearsay picked up from places like 4-chan then spread to right-wing rags then spread to right wing politicans. The reason the trans - fan fic is getting spread by right-wingers is that the federal authorities are using it to get jurisdiction from the state since that could make it classify as a hate crime. Even if the roommate is trans that doesn’t mean they aren’t a right-wing trans person. Trans people can have shitty views just like any other group of people.

It doesn’t help that the FBI and news outlets are releasing different info to different news audiences to muddy the waters. Just the meta-data of this being the 3rd trans related storyline being pushed does not inspire confidence in it’s veracity. The first TRN one was debunked and retracted, but then they claim the engravings point to trans- ideology when that isn’t really apparent. Then they come up with another one. Sorry, not buying right-wingers making shit up to blame it on trans people.

It also pollutes the mind of ignorant people with misinformation. Not that that is anything new. But I do think objective truth is very important in a democratic society. It reminds me of that video that used to go around that showed Sinclair Broadcasting in like 20 some different ‘local’ broadcast news all repeating the same words verbatim. It ended with ‘This is extremely dangerous to our democracy’. With AI being added to all the search engines, it is really easy to look something and unknowingly get bombarded with false info pulled out of the dregs of internet. 90% of people don’t verify the answer to see if it is based in reality.

Very good point, I wasn’t aware of how that prisons are more profitable than asylums. It makes it seem like the prison companies and republicans might have had some motives in common to push for ending asylums. Prison companies obviously would want more slaves prisoners to increase profit. Republicans would see it as a built in source of voter suppression in certain urban generally left leaning areas since prisoners either can’t vote or vote in different more generally rural areas. This goes to show that economic and political interests can have a big effect on issues like this that seem like more social issues at first glance.

As far as demographics, they are pretty similar but most shooters have that in common here. Their methods are pretty much identical. Both climbed on a roof and shot. This shooter’s accuracy is a lot more neck than nick. Both in trump areas. Most recent one is more competent to since he shot and fled successfully. I would say unclear motivations aren’t that surprising for essentially kids who are shooting someone knowing they might die or lose their freedom. Also keep in mind government agencies are going to be selective in what they release since they are trying to prosecute in the future. Press outlets also are going to as well to cater to their audience and get clicks.

Anyway you can follow the sequence of public events listed in my other comment and do some research on the groups involved and you can verify as needed. More research than that would be helpful if it is well researched and true. But this is a meme, so I didn’t want to go overboard.

The engravings in the bullets could be interpreted that way, but I have read from people more familiar with the groypers and how they operate that they love co-opting seemingly antifa messages and using them ironically as a dogwhistle. They are generally very online gamers who lurk in games like Helldiver’s 2 and use it as a nazi bar.

So the messages on the bullets seem innocent and left-coded to normal people but to someone sufficiently steeped in the shit-stew of ‘groyper culture’, they would essentially act as a sign, that one of their own people did it. It is very similar to an inside joke that kids have or things like skibidi toilet. By putting those particular in-group inside jokes on the bullet, the shooter was signalling to Nick Fuentes’s Groypers that they(essentially a gang) that the Groypers put the hit in on Kirk and TPUSA. So it seems to me like from this group context one could deduce that Kirk got killed by gang violence.

Kirk’s last words were literally ‘gang violence’. Coincidence? I think not.

I stole this meme from somewhere else, and I think it actually is kinda misleading. Here’s what actually happened in brief:

July 2025:

Kirk said the Epstein Files should be released.

August 2025:

Trump told Kirk to shut up about the Epstein Files. (He did)

September:

A groyper follower killed Kirk.

A possible motive is that Fuentes and the groypers really hated Kirk becuase he was a Trump Lackey who was covering for Trump with the Epstein Files. Possibly they also hated him because he wasn’t enough of a Jew-hater.

In objective reality, if you treat people who profess to believe such things like that, they bitch and moan until they get their way. But if the roles are reversed, they really act like they don’t give a damn about you.
