I remember enjoying Deutschland 83 and the subsequent series. Even just from a set design and historical perspective.

I have volunteered at something similar to “Food Not Bombs” where they take supermarket food about to be thrown out and makes free communal meals. It’s a nice way to learn a bit of improvised cooking as well!

I still have to give Storygraph a go, but I’ve heard it had got some nice analytics features.
I’m happy with tracking my reading on the Fediverse-enabled BookWyrm 😉
My Kobo Clara screen froze entirely so I opted for a second hand e-reader for €50, a Tolino. It’s got a backlight and I can load Libby books on there which is all that I need.
I will give the Kobo one more chance though once I make it to a repair café.
P.S. Hopefully this post lasts longer than my one on Lemm.ee and works for those searching the Fediverse/Lemmyverse for the same question 🙃

8·4 months agoI’m playing Thief (2014). It’s often discounted at the Steam sales.
Not bad, but I made the mistake of pretty much being ignorant of the side quests for a good portion of the game! And those quests and city exploration parts are actually when you can use your special items the most 🤦♂️

I would say it’s more like Scorpion (the tail) meets Vulture (the elderly).
I dunno, I think the Ethiopian food itself more than makes up for it. Unseasoned polenta on the other hand…

4·8 months agoI’m happy I’m able to fit such delicious mix of ingredients in my go-to comfort food!
As requested: https://lemmy.zip/post/45187879
I have hummus practically every day as a spread in my sandwiches. In between I add cucumber, pumpkin seeds, marinated tempeh, tomato, lettuce, sometimes red cabbage and mayo. My new staple!
“D” could be Demise - part of Ganondorf’s origin. “A” is clearly the hero of all time - Agatha the bug princess.
Or Agahnim if you want the deep cut.

8·8 months agoI have created a Mastodon list just for PeerTube “subscriptions”. I just swap over and then have a list only full of videos. On mobile the Surf app could do something similar.

Anyone else like the Bear McCreary / Rufus Wainwright “Old Tom Bombadil” rendition they made for the show?
