Seems like PEBCAK to me. What an embarrassing article for someone who is supposed to know about PCs for a living.
I think the author only knows about very popular games and Windows as opposed to PCs in general.

The killswitch isn’t safe for bittorrent on your own PC as they have a tendency to expose your IP briefly when the connection drops before it kicks in. Binding your torrent client to your VPN network is 100% reliable though so no need for a seedbox.

Yep, “AI” is a very fancy database query masquerading as science fiction.

Yeah, it’s a fantastic game. I think i’m probably at about 700 hours :D
The expansion is called Fangs of Asterkarn and is gonna have a bunch of cool stuff! I think they said it’ll be out Q1 or early Q2 next year.

I had planned to play the Metro series but instead I’m playing Grim Dawn which works out fine with the new expansion coming soon.

OK, India still has the highest rate of Veganism in the world.

highest rate of veganism in history
India says hello

Thats what I said. I said it is either a Christian or Consumerist occasion.

What an awfully written and excessively reductionist article.
Arguing against Christmas as a Christian or Consumerist occasion would have been a better use of their time.

Lmao, no it won’t.

Seems like an absolute ripoff.

Waterfox. As I understand it, Librewolf goes to extremes for privacy to the point where it may impact your browsing experience. Waterfox cares about privacy too but not to the same extreme.
A little bit of google-fu goes a long way ;)
Have fun!

Instructions unclear. Purchased a 5090, 9800X3D and 64gb DDR5 RAM for playing Terraria. Also, it has shiny lights.
Could it be Stickwars?
General convention is that /media is for removable media that is automounted and that /mnt is for permanent devices. Some distros automount to /run/media instead of /media though.
Convention aside, you can mount to anywhere you like.

That worked perfectly, have had no issues today at all.
Thank you very much!

Fantastic, thanks!
I’ll be sure to reply here in a few days to let you know either way.

Hi, I’m in the UK so I can’t access the site without a VPN at all.
I figured it was worth posting because I don’t have to constantly pass a cloudflare challenge to access lemmy.zip or stay logged in (i’ve been logged in without interruption for weeks). It’s only images.lemmy.zip that I have this issue with so it seemed to me that was not in keeping with other parts of the site.
Waterfox is a better choice in that regard.
