I have to disagree, though. There is tons of great music from all genres coming out all the time, you just have to find it because the industry has changed so much.

Your Old Droog, Louis Cole, Kamasi Washington, King Gizzard, Viagra Boys, Oh Sees, Deerhoof, Mdou Moctar, Czarface, Parquet Courts. These are just a handful of random modern acts off the top of my head who are putting out great music.

Hell, plenty of talented artists from the 90’s (and other decades) like De La Soul and Beck are still releasing quality albums.

Maybe think about discovering new music as a bonding experience you can share with your kid.

Maybe you should proofread your own comment before writing an incoherent critique of others.

I don’t think a subculture of people looking for live music makes this an unpopular opinion. The vast majority of people would and do prefer to play studio music over live recordings. I’m a musician and live music lover and still would select studio albums pretty much every time.

Makes sense. It’s still a wonderful image and the haze fits the atmosphere of the scene. If it was too sharp the photo would become unnatural.

This is a really great shot. I love the minimalism and negative space.

Personally, I might increase the sharpness/contrast around the pole and bird so it pops a bit more, but that could also be Internet compression or just personal taste.

Yeah climbing is like that. I was starting to get V6s regularly and then broke my hand. I’m a month back after surgery and have to project V4s again 😭

It’s definitely a great way to meet people. Some of our best friends are from climbing (and biking)!

Car drivers break the law at a far higher rate than cyclists. The are way more accidents not involving bikers. Sorry people being healthy and helping the environment while reducing traffic is a slight inconvenience to you while you sit in a climate controlled box.

Yeah that’s fairly common. It’s called single track, which means it’s only wide enough for one bike either way vs double track where two bikes could pass each other. There’s a wide range of tails varying from super chill to life risking, so you can work your way up or just do what your comfortable with.

It’s a huge rush and you can see more of the area on a bike. Suspension frames make bumps doable. Similar experience to skiing or snowboarding.
