That’s interesting. I wonder what the differences are between nitrogen hypoxia and helium hypoxia (an increasingly popular suicide method).

@Pamasich Thank you for the information. It would be nice if Ernest were 10 people instead of 1, wouldn’t it? I guess I just have to let this account go dormant, which I didn’t want to do… but at least the password is unique.

@Damaskox I don’t want my votes to be public. I wasn’t aware that this was the case until recently, but the concept makes me uncomfortable and this limitation wasn’t obvious when I signed up (July 2023, just after the Reddit API changes).
Regardless of whether you believe that’s a valid reason, I feel like I should be able to delete an online account easily and promptly if that’s what I choose to do, no matter my motivation for doing so.

I’m sick of Kirk, I’ve seen TOS like 7 times and seen all the movies. I want something new. I’m 29 btw, grew up on Trek. My parents telling me about TNG as a kid actually made me cry because I was so happy there was more.
I’m also willing to admit that I actually skip TOS on rewatches because I’m so tired of it.

@MajorHavoc I’m Canadian, I don’t think we’re very good about privacy here. I sent a contact form a few days ago. My next step is emailing as many addresses as I can find.

@cloudless I want it gone. There is a button to make it gone that doesn’t work. I would abandon it, but it’s possible that it could be compromised while I’m not actively monitoring it. It’s much preferable for it to be actually deleted, as promised (but not delivered) by the stupid button I pushed over a month ago.

@willya No, I’m bitching about one basic function of the site (voting being public) being obfuscated and the other (account deletion) being intentionally withheld. If you don’t care, don’t read it.

You’d have to ask the 4chan OP about the lore of his made-up universe, I have no idea.

High school gym classes are usually separated by gender. That said, I think this is fake - pinnies/vests are not very expensive and can be reused for years.

Store workers need to stop following Black people around stores. That’s what I’m understanding was the main factor here… Stop making racism your job, you have a real job that needs your fucking attention.

This is how I quit too but I started at 6mg nicotine. A lot of people start at 18mg or so but I think that that’s too much, at least for me. I was nearly having heart palpitations taking hits off of a friend’s vape, lol.
Ontario definitely already has that. The demerit limit is also lower for drivers without a full license (classes G1 and G2). But, like I said, it must be too lenient.

I dunno if you’ve ever grown anything, but there are plants that need full sun saturation to grow.
They’re conducting research, not growing turnips to eat, so the condition of each plant needs to be near perfect in order for any study to be replicable.
I don’t know the specifics, but I’d say that the experimental farm probably knows how their plants are going to fare in the shadow of a 33-storey building, which may cover the land for the majority of the day.
Not to mention that even several hundred $3000/month units do nothing to depress unit costs as a whole.

Do you genuinely believe that these highrises will be affordable for the common person who is suffering from a lack of housing availability? They will, in all likelihood, be luxury condos for rich people.
Does Ontario not already have a points/demerits system? My mom was an alcoholic, so I saw her get her license suspended once, twice, for 5 years, then permanently.
I guess it’s too lenient to make a difference.
Kavita
Komga
Calibre-web
Audiobookshelf with ePub plugin
Those are the main ones I know about. I only use Kavita and I like it, but it’s not perfect so you should try them all.

Testimony is evidence, that’s how court works. This is the reason why you swear an oath of honesty under penalty of perjury.
This is because Plex uses Open Subtitles, which is the same provider from the screenshot.

It does affect download speed, but if you’ve already downloaded some of it and your download speed is faster than the video playback, it works quite well.
Oh, I didn’t know that. I suppose it’s a matter of public safety at that point. Though it does sort of force a person who is intent on dying to use an alternative method that may be more violent and/or public.
