They were very good and tender and the crust gave them structure so you could handle them and dip in sour cream. I think it was a Joshua Weissman video that I got the idea to cube and parboil potatoes before pan frying(I believe it was for testing spices), but add in onions, salt, and pepper and it was my go to snack for like a month.

About a liter of broth and 2 potatoes cut in half. It did make it noticeably less salty. But I cannot give you any numbers on how much I put in, all I can say is that the potatoes needed no salt and the broth is more serviceable.

When everything everything everything became an 8+ a few years ago, I stopped using them and rotten tomato.
