Sure the wall is unnatural, but has been there such a long time that it has become a shelter for wildlife.
Yes, it would make more sense to rebuild the wall. He has offered his help to the owner of the land.
Stone stacks encourage others to build stone stacks. So stone stacks lead to more stone stacks which lead to more stones being pulled from places that offer shelter to animals.

It also really depends where the tumor is located. If its higher up in the colon, then the blood will be darker. But if it’s more to towards the end or the sigmoid it can still be red.
I have IBD and it’s located in the sigmoid. My stool can be pretty damn red sometimes
That color is what you get when you crawl out through the fallout

Great job on the bots! And a good idea to scale back based on demand, there’s probably a lot of work in those bots. And thanks for the shout out :)

Baseball@fanaticus.social•Last Wednesday Netflix announced a full-season documentary that will have "unprecedented access to follow the '24 Red Sox from start to finish". How do you guys feel about it?English
1·2 年前I’m all for drama if its real, but with Drive to Survive they fabricated story lines and created drama that wasn’t there which irked me.
But I agree, over a whole season there’s more than enough content to make a good doc. Especially with the 20th anniversary of the '04 team and the contrast with the '24 team, a new POBO, Cora’s last year of his contract, and coming off an underwhelming off season. More than enough drama probably

4·2 年前Yeah I get that. I’m Dutch myself and I grew up playing baseball but the distance and the lack of people to talk to make it difficult to pick up on the intricacies behind the game. Even the guys I played with weren’t really following the MLB. And coverage here is almost exclusively focused on football.

2·2 年前International tourneys are very cool. Here in the Netherlands we have the European championships. But also the Haarlemse Honkbalweek every two years which includes nonprofessional teams from the US, Taiwan, Japan, Cuba, Italy etc. The US usually sends high level college players, so I’ve seen guys like Stephen Strasburg, Kris Bryant and Yeonnis Cespedes when they were younger. It’s so fun watching them play in the big leagues later.
But I would love to see a game in the Caribbean. And a game in the Tokyo Dome, what and amazing atmosphere must that be

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Can someone explain to me what makes Taylor Swift so popular?
11·2 年前Luck and timing are big factors. There are many talented artists out there that work hard and make the kind of music that (in theory) should appeal to a large audience but never make it. Either at all or not to the level of Taylor Swift. If you make the right music at the right time, your chances increase but you still need luck.
Edit: what I’ve heard of Taylor is that she’s very good in making the right music at the right time. The songs fit the trends in music. But I’ve never listened much to her, so I don’t know for sure if its correct

What a great trio to be elected into the hall. And I’m very happy that Mauer got in. My dad was a Twins fan and I was a catcher from a young age, Mauer’s hard work and dedication to his craft was very inspiring.
Quite interesting to see them trying to live without a car in a society where cars are such a necessity. I live in the Netherlands and many of my friends don’t have a license or own a car, but over here the infrastructure is build around accessibility for people without a car. For example, I live in a small town and I can hop on my bike and reach 5 supermarkets within 15 minutes. But it’s interesting to see people trying out different modes of transportation where it’s not so easy.
