These things have very high CRI, 98 to 100, and are conveniently 6000k. They were used in movie theatres!

1·12 小时前Yea but Oracle though…
Okay how many of us yawned after seeing this picture? Probably means we should get more sleep.
We know it is wireless, has a gyro, and on top of all basic controller functions has two trackpads with extra haptics, so it’s unlikely that it will be cheap.
I’m not here to convince anyone of anything. What you choose to eat is your business. But it’s important to get the biology and facts correct.
xep@discuss.onlinetoMental Health@lemmy.world•What’s a mental health myth you believed for years?English
1·12 小时前Dietetics is mostly dogma, unfortunately.
you can’t replace carbs entirely without consequences like ketoacidosis.
This is incorrect. The body is able to make all the carbohydrate it needs via gluconeogenesis. It needs no exogenous carbohydrates at all.

https://m.thewire.in/article/health/one-third-diabetes-treatment-india-capital
Currently, 21.4% of men and 23.7% of women of India suffer from diabetes. India has historically been the diabetes capital of the world. The latest study pegs the total number of diabetes cases in India at 212 million. This accounts for 26% of total diabetes cases in the world – the highest proportion contributed by any country.
FYI. Not exactly a resounding endorsement of Indian nutrition.

Fallout@lemmy.world•Bethesda "lectured" Fallout New Vegas designer for saying the RPG would run at 30 FPS: "'Why do you have a fucking engine that can't run 30 frames per second?'"English
7·3 天前I think the problem is less the engine than it is the fact that they haven’t sat down and did what it took to fix the technical debt causing this, or if intractable decided to move engines.
In other words, they’ve decided it’s not important enough to so something about.

2·5 天前I think that perhaps unrefined palm oil is not as bad, but it is bright red and has a strong flavour. Industrially refined any sort of seed oil is best avoided.

Yes, indeed primarily from fat. The body is able to use the glycerol backbone from triglycerides to make glucose, alongside several other things like proteins and lactate. Since calories are a measure of heat energy, they are a reductive measure when it comes to nutrition. Much better to think in terms of nutrients.
Stated another way, there is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate. This has been in scientific literature for a very long time.
