1: skip the us travel for now 2: bring a clean prepaid phone instead
Submitting your unlocked phone for inspection (out of your sight) when requested, has been a condition of entry to the US for several years now. There was a famous case a while ago, where a member of NASA JPL was detained when returning to the is US from a trip and he refused because he had top secret info on it.
