Nearly all building destroys green spaces. You gotta put it somewhere.

Where’s the outrage against the cookie cutter housing developments that clear hectares of green land to build houses that look like shit stand out like a sore thumb, and maybe have 1 tree or a bush out front while everything in between is concrete and asphalt.

I’m just pointing out that this type of housing does very similar damage to the environment, but we aren’t seeing article about that constantly everywhere. Dozens of hectares of land clear cut to plop down bullshit, pave over it all, and install a handful of usually non-native plants for accent.

But that provides housing versus a factory, so there are fewer complaints about it generally. Those articles also don’t get headlines people will click, and thus advertising clicks.

I’m not sure wt:thon is saying they are pro-cookie cutter housing, but that they aren’t as loud about it as they are about Tesla.

Tesla built a factory outside Berlin and people fought them on having to clear the forest for the space.

It was a non bio diverse planted forest in a spot that was eventually expected to be used like this, and then Tesla planted a bigger more bio diverse one elsewhere to compensate.

But they still fought it tooth and nail.

The point is that those who run China are as fascistic as is the US under Trump, if not more so.

Was Mao left and would he be better?

What is the Maoist and/or (true) leftist position(s) of China exporting EVs?

‘china’ doesnt export ev’s, corporations do, that should answer the second question.

mao tho, just another influential salesman using revolutionary ideals to become an authoritarian dictator. politics doesnt change no matter where, or who, you are.

Good answers, however, I was thinking more of what is more evil: the way EVs are made in China, or how Teslas are made?

Getting tired of this boring ass brain dead comment everywhere. Even true, the comment brings nothing to the discussion. It’s just a waste of space and proves you have nothing to actually contribute to the conversation. The need to be noticed even if it’s by posting insufferable thoughtless commentary.
