More than 40,000 fans and an all-star line-up of rock legends pay homage at the “heavy metal Live Aid”.
Streaming from home, because, well the PPV wasn’t affordable, but my wife made it happen for me.
I ugly cried during “Mama I’m Coming Home” and I expect I will continue to do so for the majority of the evening.
There is certainly some personal history with that specific song, but damn, most of the crowd was in tears. Still waiting for the set change for Sabbath!
If I could have seen any concert in the history of ever, this one right here.
For those only familiar with Black Sabbath’s famous songs like War Pigs and Paranoid, check out the older stuff. Hole in the Sky is an all-time favorite album.
“Hole in the sky” appeared on “Sabotage”. Great song and great album.
Got me! Forgive, am old. :)
Me too. I can’t remember what happened yesterday but I can remember songs from 40 years ago (I listened to Sabbath in the eighties). Really great band. I got back into them about 15 years ago and was amazed at how well the music held up.
