    I still point this show out as being some of the best television. Arguably helped set the groundwork for things like Game of Thrones a few years later.

      I never watched it and have it on my list but from what I gather it ended a bit abruptly - how finished does it feel at the end?

        Spoilers, but only broadly.

        Season one is the rise and fall of Caesar. Season 2 is Octavian’s initial rise and consolidation but I really wanted a third season with him at the height of his imperial power.

        The cast is stacked and you’ll recognize some of the actors from further down the road.

        I like that it also follows two soldiers through the two seasons, not just the nobility.
