Not really a problem, since my phone is usually silent. I miss mystery calls all the time. It’s their fault for not texting me first.
This is all so damned sad. COVID warped our sense of sociability, and not just the young missing school. I’m 54 and now loathe going to the store. Except for thrifts and the locally owned hardware store, shopping and people wig me out a bit. And I’m sociable!
I think much of this is down to when America’s FCC dropped the rule that telemarketers could not call cell phones. I may be misremembering the details, but I recall something happening during Trump 1.0 and the telemarketing calls exploded.
