The power to heal anyone of anything with just a touch. (Medical, genetic, amputees get limbs back, paraplegics playing tennis, infections gone, cancer disapears, organ renewals, bad eyesight fixed, cavities replaced with perfectly healthy teeth, nutritional defficiencies gone, halitosis gone, etc…)

Granted. As a side effect, since you’re usually grazing yourself with your own fingers fairly often, through the course of normal human affairs, you’re getting one of the longest lives imaginable (and also the healthiest genitalia ever recorded).

Go forth and see the future, and hope that it’s worth living in.

One thing I’ve noticed in this thread is that everyone is very eager to shit on each other’s requests for superpowers, even though the OP just says “side effect.”

It doesn’t have to be bad, it just has to be something extra!

(Why are humans always dragging each other down into the crab pot?)

Probably because of the origin of this game was the monkey’s paw. Pick an amazing superpower and everyone gets to ruin it it in fun and creative ways.

I would like my base metabolic rate to drop by 10% to assist with the rising cost of food.

I have a modest request. It is not so powerful to be as broken as “invincibility” or “being hounded by women,” but it would help me live.

Your stomach size reduced by 50% so you’ll need to eat more often. 😺

Oh. Mine already had an inbuilt penalty, in that I got to enjoy less of my favorite foods, but I suppose someone can always come and make it worse. It’s such a modest tweak though.
