I’ll treat my kid like a Pikmin only for as long as I am physically able to throw them like one

I do it when I can stack them up and make them into a ladder to climb up to places I can’t reach.

Or when I need to cross wide gaps.

  • My little dog has associated the start up sounds for Dark Souls 1-3 and Elden Ring with me yelling and will immediately go hide somewhere when I fire up one of these games.

But he loves the sound of quitting because it generally means he’s going for a walk after.

The game is not Nintendo’s biggest title, but it’s my favorite. It’s a micro managing adventure, like an RTS, but fun for normal people. Each game is short, but extremely replayable. My hours in Pikmin 4 add up to more time than I spent playing games like Smash Bros or Zelda BOTW. I think the only games that rival this amount of playtime is minecraft or stardew valley.
