It’s always going to be weird for me to see vinyl releases of albums I associate with an era in which a vinyl release would have been exceedingly rare (given the popularity of CDs). Any new vinyl I got in the lately 90s was promo and/or indie punk singles. Good album, just will always be a CD release for me and it’s weird because vinyl is now something I associate with both boomers and the “kids these days”.

The majority of my vinyl collection is nostalgically stocking my collection of albums that I discovered primarily on CD or Cassette during the interregnum of vinyl.
