I just tried it with Copilot and all four results matched the prompt. No humans. Which one did you use?

4·2 年前W take. I have no problem with my public comments being used as training data for AI as long as they’re public. I just don’t want some shitty private company to hoard them like they fucking own them when they don’t.

2·2 年前With how monolithic operating systems are and how much gets built on top of them and requires them, we really need legislation to prevent this kind of greed. There is no free market and no freedom of choice when it comes to OSes because of that dependency.

32·2 年前You want to jail people for who they vote for? That seems pretty unhinged to me.

1·2 年前The fuzzing of the plunger input is what I was thinking about. You could run a bunch of simulations right as the plunger is released with slightly different inputs and then pick the one with the desired result to display on the screen. You’d need to have a pretty efficient simulation, but the user would be none-the-wiser.

2·2 年前There are only seven buckets. Couldn’t you predetermine the result while also giving the illusion of the physics doing it by just simulating a bunch of slightly varied drops and presenting the first one that gives the desired result?
A man is sentenced to death on Sunday and told he will be executed on a day in the upcoming week, but it will be a surprise that he will not see coming. He reasons he cannot be executed on the next Sunday, since if he made it to Saturday and was still alive, he would know he was being executed on Sunday since it’s the last day. Because he cannot be executed on Sunday, Saturday becomes the last day and he reasons he can’t be executed then either. He follows this logic all the way down to Monday and concludes that he will not be executed.
He was executed on Tuesday and was very surprised.
I haven’t timed it, but I’d say Epic takes ~2-3mins on my machine. Steam is around the same as yours or possibly a bit faster.
You can’t convince me there’s anything wrong with wearing Crocs.
Yeah. The idea of a Star Trek-like community of technologically similar alien races all developing in parallel and making alliances/wars with each other is not reflective of reality at all. If we ever encounter aliens, they will either have essentially no technology like animals or will be so far beyond us that they are effectively gods. The odds of us running into a civilization at an even remotely similar level of development are infinitesimal.
I think the joke is the asymmetry in dating
Ex*
If she already broke up with you, why stop playing to listen to your ex rant at you?
If she didn’t immediately break up with him and only did it because he didn’t stop playing, that’s different.
That shit should be illegal. It’s insane that people are still allowed to do that to people who don’t absolutely medically require it.
I think websites do this when they want to force you to change your password every so often (which is a really bad policy btw), but didn’t bother actually making a popup for it, so they just fuck with the database to invalidate everyone’s passwords every so often.

11·2 年前there’s no way he could win.
Only if you assume his sole objective is to selfishly hold on to power by being re-elected, which is admittedly not necessarily inaccurate. If he cared about saving people instead of furthering his own interests, he could take the political L to actually fucking save people. He’s already president, there is no higher position he could go for next to enact even more change.

… I think you missed the context for this post. There was another post where someone was showing an AI image generator showing a non-white queen of England for no apparent reason.
