Installing a body kit

Thanks for the info

I never knew the difference between them. I’ve never been able to find any information on what products are compatible. Even within paint brands

On the piece pictured, I used XGM08 for the gold, testors green met flake, and Mr. Super Clear Gloss

I paint cars for a living. Painting plastic robots should not be this challenging for me. But all the techniques are different. Are you airbrushing topcoat?

My love affair with gundam markers has ended. I can’t make the metallics look good with top coat.

Once I find the right color in real paint I will recoat and the panel line after topcoat
Complete seasoning is one of my favorites and it has msg

Same. I’ve been holding back from Gunpla to work on my car, also The Wife said no more robots until you get rid of some.

They will both pretty much be metallic versions of the original color scheme. If I change any colors on them it will only be for increased separation which is already pretty good on these kits.

I’m waiting on a metal frame and waterslides for my MG Altron and and I still have to finish painting and detailing MG Sandrock and FM Aerial. I’m waiting on a couple kits from P-Bandai too.

I generally dont like SD but this looks sick. I’m getting terminator vibes.

I think it’s cool. What’s going on the white and red base?

My last few kits have been from P-Bandai, but I’ve been using The Gundam Place Store for my supplies. Their shipping charges are comparable to other US based stores but they are about an hour from me so sometimes I pick up my orders in person when the wife wants to galavant on the weekends.

I’m on vacation this week but I’m working on MG Altron
This is wicked looking. I like it
Where does this information come from come from? I’m genuinely curious, I don’t remember any of that from the show

Is it articulate enough to sit or shake?

You’re right. It is missing 2 extra Gatlings in the chest that an actual Kai would have. But thanks for the props.
In the US, it’s been prepay or pay at the pump since around 2007. The only fuel theft cases you hear about now involve scamming the pump or actually stealing the fuel directly from the the stations in-ground tank and bypassing the pump all together
