i have 4 cats. 2 are from me and my gf having a cat each before we dated, then i had one that was neglected by my neighbors that i stole(he showed up bleeding from his chest once and i saved him from a fight once. my other neighbors who werent the owners were letting it eat dog food so i started feeding him.) and the 4th showed up at our new house, i gave it some treats and it basically never left.

ive given many cats treats when theyve come to my house, but they usually go back to where they were regularly fed. if they dont leave, they clearly werent getting regular care. plus im a sucker.
