Haha it’s harder to tell in writing but I can miss jokes like that sometimes in real life too. But usually I get jokes and joke a lot myself. I don’t have any diagnosis but I suspect I might have ADD. I haven’t gotten around to check but I know for sure something is not right with me.

Why are you saying that the signs are bad? The signs above the road are pretty clear. Each arrow above the lane points to its destination. I can’t say much about the situation around Stockholm but personally I have never had any issues following directions on the highway.

In my opinion we just need some counter drones around European airports. I have seen police use drones that capture civilian drones with a net or something similar. Shooting the drone down in an airport would do more harm than good unfortunately.

I am completely fine with having this community for steam hardware. I don’t think it would be beneficial to have 10 smaller communities instead of one big. Lemmy is not a huge platform at the moment

I have had discussions with this person before and it’s not worth it haha. It doesn’t matter that this person will spend arguably more time swapping AA batteries over the years than the time spent replacing the built in batter one or two times during its lifetime.

The more I think about it the more I want to get a Steam Machine. My computer is around 15 years old now I am starting to wish for some more performance. I think the Steam Machine could last me many years to come.

Do you have a torrent client installed? Do you know how to download using a torrent client? If you don’t have one yet then I can recommend qBitTorrent. It’s a well developed torrent client.

I can recommend watching some YouTube video on how torrenting works. It’s fairly straight forward. You basically download a small .torrent file (or use a magnet:url.

A magnet is the same as a torrent but there is nothing to download first. Just add the magnet address to your torrent client.

In the torrent client you then get a window that asks you where to place the downloaded file and also a few other tweaks you can do. Usually you only need to press OK and the download starts.

The hard part in sailing the high seas is finding good websites with the content you are looking for. Every torrent also needs another person to upload the file. If you have no one to download from then you will not get your file.

It is common courtesy to keep the torrent client running even after reaching 100%. This will help others download the file from you. This is the core feature of torrents. Everyone that downloads also helps with sharing the file. That’s how we keep spreading the data. As long as there is 1 person uploading, then the torrent will be alive.

Please note, a torrent can have 0 people sharing (Seeders) for the moment but might become active several hours later once another person turn on their computer and start sharing the file again.
