The github page for websurfx says its a open source alternative to searx, and I never used searx before so I wasn’t aware of it being OSS but sorry for being your ocean of ignorance you can’t do anything about. Next time I won’t share anything to not offend.

Right, there’s plenty of people also not getting paid anything for their work. This “You shouldn’t care about money” feels like a straw man argument to OP’s argument which I think could also be said as “OSS isn’t sustainable unless everyone is paid a sustainable amount”.
It’s just all around frustrating. It has that same energy as “You criticize the system yet you’re a part of it” example. For example, I wont be able to show this thread to my landlord when rent is due saying, “You shouldn’t care about money, I’m an OSS dev so I dont”
So in closing, I guess I wish everyone had a UBI to be sustainable and then yeah OSS itself could be sustainable as a hobby project.

Take time for yourself, I don’t think anyone’s going to blame you for that. And honestly, I don’t have any issues with the current state of Kbin, there’s a couple bugs here and there but it’s entirely usable otherwise. Finally, I think giving yourself a deadline to resolve personal issues might be counterproductive and make you more stressed than you should be. It sounds like you’re already taking steps to help spread the workload around, I would just keep spending a little bit of time helping out the team do some stuff you can’t do until you’re able to get a better work life balance or something.
I guess I’m trying to say, things are great to me and I imagine you’re getting that unfortunate side effect of only having people who have something to complain about reach out whereas everyone who has everything going well isn’t saying anything. So, in my opinion, you can stay to course (as long as it isn’t killing you mentally) and I don’t think the site is suffering any for it.
I’m also wondering what, they could be bitching in either direction.
They’re not protesting NASA or any other public space agency. It’s the private ones owned by billionaires they have issues with.

Not only that, they support the right to repair and offer replacement parts on ALL of S76’s laptops
They run them through QA at least and work directly with Nvidia to fix any issues they notice. They dont catch everything of course but its still good.
