I’m using Pinchflat to do that as well. It can download vídeos from Youtube channels I follow using yt-dlp and checks automatically fpr new videos. Check it out, it might be similar to what you want to do

It’s also a nice way to use a single launcher to replace 2 / 3 (Epic Games, GOG Galaxy and Amazon gaming).

On Linux I only use Steam and Heroic.

That’s my experience as well. I’ve been a Mint user for around 6 years (2012 to 2018 or 2019), with different DEs (Gnome, Cinnamon and Mate) and installations and there was always something that stopped working all of a sudden, or something wrong with Mint altogether that made the experience bittersweet. I even tried LMDE for a bit and didn’t last a week using it.

I ended up hopping to Antergos (RIP) and have been with it ever since.

Why would you need new Nvidia drivers in Windows 7 if every new game released requires Windows 10 or above?

Even if you manage not to die in any of the horrific ways it’s still pretty violent.

There are more things to do than finishing the whole game the way it was intended, not every biome has a monster that can kill you.

You can swim with the pengwings, play with the sea monkeys, build a giant base in the starting area while playing in creative mode…, there might even be mods that completely disable the need to surface for air or make every creature passive so you can swim mwext to them in peace.
