bees are animals. they make the honey for them, not us. Plus queens are often dewinged so they don’t fly away. I’ve heard, but have next to no proof, that in winter, drones are suffocated because they will eat the honey that they make instead of humans getting it. Also, farmed bees aren’t native to a lot of places, and they’re competing with native bees for pollen etc. So the native bees are dying off.

I adopted him a week ago, and he IMMEDIATELY made himself at home. He’s lounging around, cuddling etc. He’s soooo affectionate!
