I love “The gods themselves”. Themes it explores are interesting and sci-fi parts are really clever and unique.

F-Zero, despite the outdated hardware I still find it fun. Controls aren’t bad and I like most tracks. Super Mario Kart on the other hand feels outdated in terms of controls and track design.

That’s basically how it felt for me.

Do you recommend the game? I’m not sure should I buy it.

Linux is amazing for games thar don’t have anti-cheat and I don’t play those games. Saying that Linux gaming isn’t ready is just stupid at this point. And for emulation it might be better than Windows.

It’s about companies that are against piracy for games they don’t sell anymore and don’t provide a way to play them. If they gave us a way to play them piracy wouldn’t be only option.

But even new games can have similar problem because of the price. Main reason why I don’t have any current gen console is because I need to pay hundreds of $ for it plus 80$ per game (they cost that much in my country). That’s insane in my opinion. Two years ago I got second hand moded Wii with 200 games and paid it less than I would pay for just 1 AAA game. I can’t afford (or justify) spending so much money on games when emulation exists.

I haven’t seen the movies. I’d like to read books before watching movies.

If you liked those you will like rest of them. I also recommend Robot and Empire books after Foundation because they are in the same universe.

Moders will make servers like they did for Wii.

To me praying looks like a way to pretend that you did something while actually you didn’t do anything. Very convinient but it won’t do anything.

Ricing is fun, there is no point in stopping.

This is main reason why I don’t own any current gen console. Even those consoles that I have are bought second hand because I don’t want to support them in any way.

One thing I want to add is that all those companies are fighting against piracy of old games but don’t provide a way to play them on modern hardware. Mods are only way to play many old games (unless you want to pay hundreds od dollars for a second hand copy).

That should work but I prefer having observers separated.

Replace bamboo with sugarcane. Connect all pistons with redstone. Add observer on top that looks at daylight sensor and connect it with rest of the redstone. That will activate all pistons few times during the day and you don’t need observer for every sugarcane. You can add one more observer with daylight sensor set to night mode so farm will activate during the night too. This won’t improve the rates (if we don’t count replacing bamboo with sugarcane) but it’s much cheaper than having 1 observer for each sugarcane like others recommended, especially for bigger farms.

That sounds awful. I’m lucky to live in a former socialist country so most things that are connected with Christmas on the west are transfered to New year (giving presents, tree and things like that) while Christmas is just a holiday that Christians celebrate, only day I care about Christmas is when it comes because I live in a Christian family so they force me to participate and I hate that.
