In my case, the answer is NO! I wish my parents would’ve divorced. Instead, they stayed together and ruined each other’s lives (and their children’s lives, which includes me) by having constant fights and driving everyone insane. I would’ve been so much better if I didn’t have to constantly be their therapist as well as walking on eggshells all the time around them. I wouldn’t have had to grow up getting used to constant shouting and throwing objects every day. I would prefer peace instead of whatever the hell environment I was “raised” in.

Buy European@feddit.uk•How is Libre office nowadays? Is it a decent replacement to Microsoft Office?
2·8 months agoFor its price, it’s amazing. As a replacement for Excel - it’s fine I guess, but really depends on what your do. Excel has a lot more features than libre office doesn’t have (formatting as table, the newer formulas, and the VBA code is not the same). However if you just want it to do basic calculations with, like, excel 2010 equivalent then it will definitely work. Things like data validation, conditional formatting, nested formulas, and recording macros will work no problem.
I can’t really speak for the other products.
Any more laid back and they would get too relaxed to make music anymore lol
Yes, but those companies want you to buy THEIR cheese, not their competitors :)
Every time I see one of these types of memes I always just assume that the guy is just as clueless as in The Break Up movie lol

ADHD@lemmy.world•Does limiting things you actually enjoy help?English
14·1 year agoYes but in a different way… More about limiting the activity than the time doing the activity.
Basically I find things WAY more fun if I limit the amount of features in the fun thing. For example, if my favorite drink/food store has 10 options instead of 100, then I make a decision easier and enjoy it more since I don’t dwell on it. Or when Minecraft introduced infinite world generation, it became harder to play longer because the possibilities were too overwhelming. Or if someone says “let’s hang out, where do you wanna go” then it is more stressful and more pressure than “let’s hang out, choose between these 3 places”.
In these examples it’s all because of the overwhelming choices being reduced into processable pieces, which means I can stay enjoying the dopamine from doing the activity way faster.

7·1 year agoYup, I have this same experience with my personal account vs. the business one I use at work. The business one has a higher price a lot of the time.

There is an entire genre of “subliminal/manifest/transformation” videos on yt. They have been there for many years, but you will never know until you accidentally stumble open one of these…
I once found one convincing me that I was becoming a character from a tv show… super weird!
