This wasn’t intended to be misleading. The term “Server” as in a Discord Server is because, be fore Discord were the days of Ventrilo and TeamSpeak. For many of us gamers used to have to run or pay for their own actual server to have that kind of functionality. Then we’d combine direct calling with Skype for small groups and video. The term made sense at the time, but hasn’t held up to the test of time. Basically Discord solved a problems of having to pay for those servers, and having to use two separate programs.

When I got my first one done, I got a simple reference sheet. I gave the artist a bunch of random images from Google, and the colors I picked out for my character. I would start with that, then branch out to other things like stickers, badge, or other artwork.

It’s always been there. They did (a long time ago now) move it all the way to the left to prevent people from pressing it all the time. In theory, Android should manage resources well enough that you shouldn’t have to use it.

I’m not affiliated with them, but I believe they post anything they find and want to feature once they find on FA and Twitter. I wouldn’t say they’re stealing it though. They post the source and name of you as the artist. I don’t see how it’s different than if there was a NSFW furry art community on Lemmy and they posted a link to it there.

They do have a safe for work version of the site too, keep that in mind.

If you still want it removed, there’s a t link to a Do Not Post list at the bottom of the form so they don’t post any of your art. I’m sure they’ll remove it quickly

I used to work for Target and Walmart. I feel like there’s some overlap between the customers I’ve experienced at Target and the people that go to Costco. Sure, there were some weird people at Walmart, but at least they’d mind their own business. I swear Karen would try extra hard to go out of her way to interrupt your work for no reason at Target.

I found all sorts of things in carts at Walmart though. People would buy stuff to do their oil change in the parking lot, then literally change the oil and leave the old stuff in a cart sitting in the parking lot. Of course they didn’t put it in the corral!

Nah. As long as your instance is federating with all the ones that you want to interact with, there isn’t much of a reason to have multiple accounts. However, if you want to see and interact with content that your main instance has blocked, you might then make another account.

Sync is closed source, while most of the other apps are open source. So you can’t see or modify the code of Sync.

These are the Mac-exclusive apps I use regularly on my MacBook Pro 14" CotEditor Amazing open source text editor just for Mac BetterSnapTool for snapping windows (old school I know) Image2icon is useful for making my dock icons consistent TopNotch because the notch is annoying TG Pro because Macs get hot Keka because sometimes you run across a RAR or 7z file

These are just Mac apps, but I also use a bunch of cross-platform apps

The only exception is if one of the two servers has chosen not to federate with the other. In that case, you would want one on each account. However, that’s pretty rare as of right now.

I did end up getting it to work. It’s a bit buggy I had to try again several times for some of them, or wait like 5-10 minutes before trying again.
