I’ve been craving poutine for MONTHS and let me tell you this did not help. Looks so good.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Lemmy, what are your "missed flight" stories?English
18·3 years agoSheesh, one thing after another! I’m sorry you had to go through that. Your poor souvenirs too.
Mine in comparison isn’t so bad. I overslept (I’m a dumbass, I missed like 5 alarms) but fortunately the airline called and said they’d rebook my flight. So after a very panicked morning rush to the airport, I’m back home now killing time while I wait for my evening flight.
This is beautiful, it’d be a shame to eat it.

FoodPorn@lemmy.world•[I ate] a silky sweet caramel puddingEnglish
2·3 years agoIt said caramel pudding on the menu so I went with that 🤷🏻♀️ flan is not as common around here, I think I’ve only seen it in restaurants once.

1·3 years agoI just restarted the game again recently. The problem with it is that it’s very difficult to put down.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is there a way to block those bots that just crosspost reddit content?English
19·3 years agoYou might as well block the entire lemmit.online instance since that is the main perpetrator of these cross posts.
I just checked - it has nearly 170,000 posts and only 3 users. At some point one has to question whether these posts are even wanted by the general community or if it has just become spam.
There is no to little engagement on these posts so they don’t bring anything new to discussion. And if the purpose is to enable users to view reddit content without actually going to reddit, there are sites which already exist for that purpose, e.g. libreddit.kavin.rocks.
I personally dislike when their posts flood my feed so I have blocked everything.
This sounds really good to me - probably because I’m a huge fan of fried chicken skin. A lot of places have picked up on it here, and some burger joints will sell them as a side like fries.
A big part of the fun is trying something new. Sometimes the hobby sticks and sometimes it doesn’t. But exploring is always great. What kind of hobbies have you tried out?
I like to explore hobbies, and I’ll have phases where I’m really into something. That helps me unwind. I’ve done pottery, soapmaking, knitting, etc. Working with my hands really lets me blow off steam.

I love this story.
