Oh damn, I had no idea! I’ll look into that <3
Raised on dial-up. Shaped by Morrowind and 20-sided dice. I lift heavy, think hard, and miss when the internet felt like a world—not a billboard.

Oh damn, I had no idea! I’ll look into that <3

Oh my god, fam! That’s such a deep cut! Love that game!! <3

This lady right here.

After reading the post and sifting through the comments I had this realization, that’s probably more about advertising than anything else, I guess, but… Don’t you find it strange that in the last few years, there’s a non-zero number of people who stumble upon an article like this, on lemmy, out of all places, and think “I didn’t even know that existed, yet, it’s very obvious that enough people use it for it to make headlines”? Is it just me? 🤔

Damn, that’s bleak…

What’s wrong with just a regular mattress? Why does it have to be connected to the internet? :(

Now that’s a reference 👌

It’s a love letter ❤

Came here to say the same thing.

Holy shit. I think this is the best comment I have ever read in my entire life. I’ve been complaining about the exact same things to my IRL peers and they all think I’m nuts for having these “beliefs”. Especially the one about recycling.

Are we soulmates!? I lived and breathed Morrowind too! I’ve got Kirkbride’s concept art tattooed all over my body, hehe.

I was wondering if these 2 things will be somehow connected 🤔

The phones are returning home 😅

You sure gots money to spend 😅
I have no idea if this is good or bad. Help? 😬

I like this answer the most.

I find this interesting. I agree with your point, the problem I have is with the, sort of, reverse of what you’re touching on here. Before cambridge analytica, SecureScuttleButt was really fun, full of geeky people talking about and sharing geeky things; after cambridge analytica, a ton of people left from facebook to SSB and suddenly the conversation turned inward and everybody was talking about the platform itself and how to “improve it” and how to have safe spaces, remove posts, federation etc. Same thing with X/Bsky. Early on Bsky was fun and geeky and whatnot. Then people from X went there looking for refuge and everyone started talking about the platform itself or, even worse, talking about the “birb site” and the conversation diluted and became less interesting. I’m glad about the fediverse because so far I don’t seem to have hit that wall yet. (sorry if this is super off-topic)

I’m Romanian and know that this game is definitely made here
Yeah, they are bad 😅
