  • Not quite, stagflation requires both high inflation and unemployment which we did see concurrently during COVID.

But it also needs low or negative economic growth which again we did see during COVID but growth and employment have been up so we haven’t had a long period of stagflation.

The final key thing that I don’t think is technically required is that the fed can’t lower rates to drive growth because inflation is too high hence the economy gets stuck. It feels like this could be where we are heading but haven’t quite been in a prolonged enough period to qualify for yet.

  • I don’t think you understand statistics well enough to speak on this.

2016 Presidential Election – Predicted Clinton over Trump with 71.4%.

The above for example was showing outcomes of simulations. Many polls reported way higher outcomes for Clinton and he was one of the few models showing a trump outcome and Trump’s path to victory was in the simulation results. This wasn’t a fail but a success of his model

Like when you are told that in a coin flip, heads is the outcome 51% of the time and hear every coin flip will be heads

  • These arguments are exactly why people hate vegans. It’s nonsense.

Not only do you jump to an insane straw man. You showcase that you ignore a clear increasing contradiction around your world view and choose reactionary nothing.

If you care about life realize the harder question. If you care about the environment realize clear inefficiencues. Currently, you showcase nothing more than crude thoughtlessness.

  • While that’s true that the earliest non-Christian source was Josephus, that doesn’t mean Paul (very contemporary figure) or the Bible aren’t good sources. We can read around the obvious fabrications and their bias doesn’t per se remove all historical value.

The standard for historians (even critical ones) strongly support treating Jesus as a real person.

This isn’t at all a win though for Christians. The Dead Sea scrolls are very indicative of Jesus as a non-unique figure. It was common for there to be Jewish apocalyptic teachers. Jesus was one of those.

The better way of thinking about him in my opinion is that he was a real Jewish teacher who never claimed to be the son of God, that was mythologized by early Christians.

Highly recommend a Marginal Jew by Meier or anything by Bart Erhman for Atheists.

Cool so you respond to a comment responsive to the original comment with a non responsive “Shut the fuck up”. Yet you think that not only are you are in a good spot to shout bot army but clearly project barking like a shrill dog like that isn’t what you are.

Also you missed saying a re-worded ‘u triggered?’… Be better
