

Problem is, it is not IP68 rated, which is a dealbreaker for someone with an active lifestyle; especially since I sometimes manage to get water even into my IP68 phones. It would be good if they made a Pro model or just made the regular model more expensive since I will gladly pay for privacy and quality on a device that is on me at all times. For now I will stick to my Pixel 9 Pro.




My approach with introducing friends to Linux on their laptops is to tell them to buy a new SSD double the size of the current one. Then i mirror their windows install and recovery and EFI to the beginning of the new SSD and then install Linux to the second half making sure that Linux get its own EFI partition and does not use Windows so that the TPM setups does not interfere with each other. Then they dont need to change anything on their Windows install, and they can also teporarily bail to Windows when something breaks/doesnt work and ask me later how to fix it.
