  • Did not know gamersupps was a thing. Essentially pre-workout mix for gamers? Nice.

I don’t like that they don’t list the exact amount of caffeine on the label though. Just that it’s a proprietary blend. I think at least caffeine should be broken out into its own line item. But 154,000mcg for the blend, so not more than 150mg caffeine per scoop. On par with a normal Monster

Edit: found it on the cans, 125mg. Still not seeing it on the nutrition label for the tub of powder, probably similar. I’m laughing at it but may buy some for days I skip the gym but still want my morning caffeine, coffee fucks my stomach

  • I recently tried audio books and they worked surprisingly well for me. I tried some of those “bedtime stories for adults” at first but they were kind of lame. Stephen King’s short story collection Nightmares and Dreamscapes did the trick. Just speaker on my phone and set to read one chapter, ~1 hour in this case.

  • Sounds like SEE (single event effect) if it’s something fixable by software.

TID (total ionizing dose) is another flavor of radiation effect on components, but that’s a total lifetime effect where it slowly degrades. Using rad hard parts or adding extra shielding is the main fix.

SEEs are transient effects from high energy charged particles that can cause bit flips and latch ups in circuitry depending on where the particle hits and deposits it’s charge in the circuitry. Extra shielding can help prevent these as well, but they can also be mitigated in software, sometimes the fix is just error detection, or power cycling a specific section of circuitry to clear a latchup
