Privacy@programming.dev•Most, if not all car companies collect and profile your data, how can I improve my privacy when buying a modern car?
4·5 天前They might, I don’t know. But I don’t go to the dealership anyway and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Do yo want something like this?

6·5 天前In most vehicles with onstar (Chevrolet mainly) you can pretty easily disconnect the cable that connects the computers to the antenna. You need to install a dummy load to keep it from turning on the check engine light but other than that it’s trivial. Once that’s done, the car will still collect data but it can’t send it anywhere. Just don’t take the car to the dealership for maintenance or they might “fix” the antenna connection for you

8·11 天前It should be noted that the OGL stuff for D&D is included in the free part, along with the ORC licensed rules from Paizo for Pathfinder 2e. I think there are one or two other systems included as well but I’ve never looked at them.

3·11 天前Left, definitely. Because the pastry on the right is an abomination.
I’ve been practicing for over 50 years, so it’s pretty easy for me.
I pull on my eyelashes when I’m bored or anxious. I pull just hard enough to lift my eyelid up a little and then let go so it makes a little “pop.” It’s very calming for whatever reason.
The Closing of the Western Mind by Charles Freeman. It’s almost 600 pages of very information-dense prose but very well-written. It’s genuinely fascinating but I can read a dozen pages and spend a month or two thinking about them before diving in again.

28·1 个月前Get them back… keep a copy of “Toxic Parents” prominently on your bookshelf.
True story: I was reading that book way back in the early 1990s and my stepdad came over for some reason. I went to put on shoes and when I came back, he had the book in his hands, looking at the cover. He dropped it like it was on fire, we traded an awkward look, then never spoke of it again.

Let me tell you about the 1970s, youngster.
