I disagree, economy is just a term describing trade between people. It means that ypu dont have to be a farmer or fisher to feed yourself, but can be a mechanic and still get fed.

While I can emphasize with people being panicked and scared of consequences for doing a major fuckup, I believe that its in those moments its most important to stay on course of what is moraly correct.

As most people, I have had moments where I did not live up to the words above, and those are the usually moments that bother me the most on sleepless nights. The moments when my actions did not live up to my morals.

One aspect of the U.S. Second Amendment that I struggle to understand is how owning firearms can be seen as a check against government power in the modern era. No matter how much money an individual spends on collecting weapons, they can never match the resources of a government with access to advanced technology like orbital GPS networks, fighter jets, drones, bioweapons, logistics, and nuclear weapons.

When the Amendment was written, weaponry was still in its early stages of development, and the assumption was that a well-armed populace could, with sufficient numbers, overthrow a tyrannical regime. However, in today’s world, this seems unrealistic. Even if someone owned a thousand .50 caliber Desert Eagles, it wouldn’t make a significant difference against such overwhelming governmental power.

I choose not to think to overthink this. Bringing up a kid has its rewards and as comic points out, sacrifices. Most parents gladly do whatever necessary so their kid has the best life in this world, and this comic just pokes fun of a phase of our life where we think more of our selves than what our parents offer up for us.

Okay, so I gotta admit, that article about the Switch 2 being not-so-bad actually convinced me. They’re right, it’s awesome for parties and two-player gaming on the go. I didn’t realize the hardware could do 3.2 teraflops docked (1.6 undocked)—the Deck only does 1.6!

Yeah, games are pricey, but I think Nintendo delivers good entertainment value.
