Mint is Ubuntu/Debian based and uses their Cinnamon desktop environment.

Bazzite is Fedora based and uses KDE as the desktop environment.

The biggest difference is that Bazzite is atomic or immutable distro. The core systems are read only so it’s harder to break. It’s also harder to tinker with. You’re mostly limited to packages that are available in their package manager. You can install other stuff via layering if you really need to tinker.

In general I agree and always have to back out of a channel and block it from my recommendations when I find them, but this guy doesn’t seem to be one of those. I’ve watched a few of this guy’s essays, including this one, and they’re pretty well researched, cite film theory books, and are focused on process - at least for the few I’ve watched.

I took someone else’s recommendation here and picked it up last week. As an old, solo player I’ve been killed by players twice out of 30ish games.

Most all the solo players I’ve met are friendly and offering help on voice chat.

7-8 years ago I was handing out candy at a friend’s house while they took their kids out. 3 boys in zoot suits with suitcases instead of bags showed up and asked for potatoes.

I gave them each one from the pantry and they went nuts. When my friends returned with the kids, they told me they’d overheard the kids talking up the potato house.
