@[email protected] gorgeous bird and photo! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one of these in person myself. The colouring of the head there is fantastic though!
@[email protected] I love these birds. We are lucky here in UK, we get 100s of thousands of them nesting here in late spring/early summer. It’s quite a sight.
@[email protected] searching for them afterwards revealed that I don’t live within their migration path. I’ll have to fly east one year and hopefully time it for when they head to Canada’s east coast.
