Let me know if this doesn't count as gardening, but went to a community orchard at a local park for apple picking, all free just paid for parking, almost 8kg apples worth.

    There’s a lot of fruit orchards that have leftover bounty at the end of the season that would normally go to waste and just be rotting on the ground as windfall losses. Thanks for helping to put it good use.

    I say it counts! You should also post to the cooking sub and post what you’re making with them!

            There becomes a point where the amount of fiber is too much fiber lol

    My tip, cut and freeze some. Theyre fine in the freezer for a long time and if want to proccess them later its not issue, but they are also a nice frozen treat.
