Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are your favourite analogies for explaining difficult or complex concepts?
11·3 years agoI think my question was not clear. The very intention of the question is to tell **any **complex topic you’ve encountered that you’ve found a surprisingly understandable analogy of. there is no constraint of any subject.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•You are in a room with all of your younger selves, each one 1 year younger than the last. What do you do with them?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is something that people think is dangerous but in reality is completely harmless?
5·3 years agoYeah, you are correct. It is just that it never occurred to me how careful they take their operations to be. That is why I assumed they would even disallow residential buildings to be built close to them.

13·3 years agoWoah, this one is actually surprising to me. Even though I am in favour of nuclear power, I do have some fear of living in close proximity of such plants, especially seeing how even the clothing used in the facility is mixed into the barrels of radioactive wastes.
