it’s not meant literally or absolutely (despite looking like it might)

I can’t remember which country it was but in an episode of World’s Strictest Parents the kids get sent to an African country and they said to the boy you need to get your haircut or you’ll be arrested for being a homosexual and the barber they went to had a chart showing the permitted hairstyles for men.
14 is actually very similar to my uncle’s hair. He wears a mustache, but it doesn’t grow hair right the middle. He also keeps sideburns that almost meet up with his mustache, but not quite. He also refused to trim his nose hair, and it constantly has snot in it.
He’s not my favorite uncle.
