I’m a genX dude, living in a genZ world. I love everyone. Be gay, be trans, be whatever. I love everyone until an individual proves they don’t deserve it. I don’t hate anyone based on groups, I hate people who are assholes.

No, it clearly states in the article that this data was from a poll conducted by AtlasIntel, a Brazilian marketing company. They also point out that not a single other poll has gotten these results. This post is very misleading. But people see a headline they like, and they upvote/comment without bothering to read the articles.

So much. I smile so much. Sure, the news and my PieFed feed are often worrying and sad, but IRL, when I’m not plugged in to the DoomBox, I love life.
I found 3 idle games that I’m really enjoying. Shark Game, Reactor Idle, and Swarm Simulator. I’m just starting out, so I don’t understand how some things work, but learning is very fun.
My wife and I got high and ate 2 16" (40cm) pizzas (extra pepperoni, extra pineapple, mozzarella, and provolone), with 24 garlic knots last night (garlic butter dipping sauce comes free with the garlic knots). My favorite local spot makes the best garlic knots on Earth, hands down. I grew up in/around NYC, so I know a good garlic knot when I eat one. We were being quite silly, and making each other laugh all night. We like to do the daily games (I don’t know for sure how to link it but I go to https://piefed.social/c/[email protected]) together, and it gets pretty competitive. We roast each other (gently, and in a joking way) when we’re the winner, and accuse the other of cheating when we lose. It’s a good time.
My restaurant was packed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the 3 12 hour days I work each week, so I got to make delicious food for about 2000 people. I genuinely love making good food for my customers. When someone makes a “yum face” in my dining room, it warms my heart. Ever since I was 8 I’ve wanted to own/operate my own restaurant, and in 2009 my dream came true. I could not ask for a better job, or better coworkers/employees.
My granddaughter (17yo) was working as a server for the Friday and Saturday dinner shifts, and Sunday brunch. Even though she got ran ragged, she came away with $1800 for 18 hours of work. The customers love her, so they tip heavy when they’re in her section. When I retire, she’s taking over ownership, and the head chef position. I love that she’s following in my footsteps, and that I get to pass down the family business when the time comes. She’s going to culinary school and working different jobs at the restaurant in order to prepare. I am so fucking proud of her. She knows that place like the back of her hand.
Today is the second day of my four day “weekend”. I’ve ordered way too much Chinese and I’m watching vintage football games while sipping on some Macallan 25 that my son got me for Easter. When my son gets home from work I’m gonna pour him a glass or three (don’t worry, he’s 32, he can drink). We’ll probably play some drunken Minecraft for a bit too, which is always fun.
My favorite cat is making biscuits out of my blanket right now, and it’s adorable. He’s almost 8 years old, and he was born on my dining room floor. I booped his snoot when he was 9 seconds old. He’s been inseparable from me ever since he could walk. There is a large colony of feral/stray cats in the woods behind my property, and I have a doggy door on my back door, so we’re always getting stranger cats coming in/out. He doesn’t go out, he just wants to be near me. I love him so much it makes me tear up sometimes.
I have enough beef jerky chew to last me a good three months, and I’m probably gonna eat it in one month, lol. Maybe 6 weeks if I’m conservative with it. It has so much more flavor than normal beef jerky, since it’s ground up so small. You know how good the dust at the bottom of a bag of chips tastes? Imagine that, but the whole bag is beef dust.
I had some extended family who I don’t see as often as I’d like to come visit last week (my grandmother even made it all the way from Glasgow, which was a huge treat), and we had a great time. Ate a ton of BBQ and went to see a Lady Gaga cover band. Lost about $700 at the casino, but had fun losing it. Went fishing with my grandson and granddaughter, and we managed to pull a good haul. Nothing like fresh caught fish roasted over a nice wood fire for lunch, with just some salt, lemon, and butter. They’re gone now, but those memories will last a long time.
I got a good deal on King crab clusters at the fishmonger, so I have enough crab legs to kill a horse in my chest freezer right now. The fishmonger also sells sells his own secret blend of crab boil seasoning, and I love it, so I grabbed a 5lb sack of that. Even with 13 people in my house, that amount of crab is gonna last a solid week.
I could go on, but I feel like I’ve crossed the line into bragging.
Also, I just wanted to give you, specifically, a shoutout. Your posts are pretty great, and I enjoy your content. Thank you for making this post, even though it didn’t get much engagement. The Fediverse/Threadiverse, whatever it’s called, needs more people like you.

Cookie Clicker, but in the ocean. I’ll play it for a couple days.

Way too easy today.

Imagine using Chrome, lol.

COVID 19 literally did not exit when we did the test. Believe it or not, some folks are more than 6 years old.

We were always a Kraft family. Grew up on it. When I suggested to my wife that we switch to the Great Value version, she was opposed to the idea. So we decided to do a blind taste test. Out of 13 people in our house, 0 could tell any difference. We buy the GV brand now. Kraft is good, but GV is just as good, and I can get 2 boxes for less money than I would spend on one box of Kraft. I’m convinced that the GV is made at the same factory as Kraft, using the same ingredients.

So, are you suing there’s an acceptable rate of constitutional violations that can be tolerated?
My fellow human, you literally quoted the part of my comment where I said it’s unacceptable. Remember where I said:
Is the shit they’re doing still unacceptable? Yes.
How could you possibly infer that I’m saying it’s acceptable from that?
I clearly stated that it’s not acceptable. You’re not gonna get a “gotcha” moment here by purposefully misrepresenting my point.
What I’m saying is that 10 victims is better than 100 victims. 0 victims would be the best, obviously. But an improvement is still an improvement, and progress is still progress.

It got my location wrong. It got my GPU wrong. It said I never left the tab, even though I left it to start this comment. It said I moved my cursor 111 times in 74 seconds, which is absolutely false.
That site is just pointless. Pretty much the only things it got right were my time zone and my browser.

If only something like https://www.removepaywall.com/ existed.
