  • The bear’s mom died when they were young. Wondering about, searching for a new mother, they found the stuffed bear. It didn’t talk nor sleep nor blink, yet the bear accepted it as their new mom and the stuffed bear was so touched by it that it devolved mother instincts and cared for the small one, gave them company and warmth and hugs and food until they grew much taller than any other bear before because no bear had ever received the true love, only a stuffed animal can give. As an adult, the bear never forgot their adoptive mother and cars for them ever since. When their biological mother rose from the dead, the bear rejected her because she wasn’t there when they needed her the most. The mother was very sad and went away, started a new life with a new child and soon after forgot her firstborn.

    1. My name isn’t Watson
    2. There is for sure a lot more to say about that than I put in my short comment. Sure, this isn’t the be all end all, and I support landback, it’s still the “white man” deciding which indigenous name to pick and butchering it in the process. But all in all I still think it’s gradually better than calling it Mikesvill.

I don’t know if any of that was your point but since you think I’m Watson, you don’t seem to know everything either

  • You’re technically correct which, in some minds, is the best form of correct. But “false dichotomy” and “whataboutism” go hand in hand and therefore form one unit of meaning. False dichotomy eliminates all but two options and whataboutism shows that “the other” option is bad too. And yes, before you say it, the comment above mine listed more than two options. I’m aware but I don’t care. I’m an anarchist.
